The Media Department offers constant support to the media centers it helped establish at the three Youth Development Resource Centers housed at the Jabal an-Nar Club (Nablus), al-Bireh Youth Foundation (Al-Bireh-Ramallah) and Bait al-Tifl Club (Hebron).The Media department helps the centers provide youth with technical media skills through various media projects including creative writing, TV production, graphic design and documentaries. The media centers are located in the three YDRCs.

Moreover, the department offers a very unique Media Training Workshop. The training helps youth acquire technical media skills as well as employability media related skills. The five-day intensive media training session focuses on topics such as communication skills, interviewing, reporting, TV programs production, film-making and public relations. As they participate in the training, youth are equipped with skills that allow them to participate in media internship opportunities within the YDRCs for three months (66 days) where they put their acquired skills to practice and contribute to building the capacity of the media centers of the YDRCs in order for them to complete their work. In addition, the department offers media internship placements. The Interns are selected from the YDRCs, the 30 affiliated clubs and other NGOs.

The Media Department aims to help youth who are serving Palestine shed a spotlight on the problems they want to address and celebrate their contribution in their community. It also provides youth with a platform for much needed self expression.
