The objective of the Capacity Building component is to build the institutional capacity of the three Youth Development Recourses Centers (YDRCs) housed at the Jabal an-Nar Club (Nablus), al-Bireh Youth Foundation (Al-Bireh-Ramallah) and Bait al-Tifl Club (Hebron). The component also helps to build a functioning network of affiliated clubs (ACs) that are located in rural communities of the three governorates (Nablus, Ramallah and Hebron). As part of building the institutional capacity of the YDRCs and the ACs, the component is designed to improve the performance of board members, staff and interns of the three YDRCs and their ACs. Eventually, the YDRCs and their ACs will spread knowledge-based resources across a larger area, providing youth with real life opportunities for active engagement in understanding critical issues faced by the youth themselves and their communities. The resources and services available in the YDRCs and ACs will allow youth to propose creative solutions to such issues both at the local and national level.
