"[Ruwwad] gives me more opportunities and options than i ever get in other places - like home or school. it gives me a different way to get involved with different Palestinian youth from different regions of the country"

  • We work in refugee camps, rural villages, big cities, and small towns.
  • Ruwwad runs activities in all 11 governorates in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. We also work in all areas of the Gaza Strip, from Rafah to Jabaliya.

In 2008, Ruwwad will help the Palestinian Ministry of Youth and Sport to launch four Youth Development Resource Centers in the West Bank. The Centers will offer IT training, media internships, and youth programs, and will be established in four main areas:

  • The City of Nablus, in the Northern West Bank, serving the greater Nablus area.
  • The City of Hebron, in the Southern West Bank, serving the Hebron and Bethlehem governorates.
  • Al-Bireh, in the Ramallah region, serving the central West Bank
  • Beita, in the Nablus region, serving the Northern West Bank.

These four “hub” centers will be linked to over 65 affiliated local youth clubs in communities across the West Bank.
